Renewal's existing identity lacked structure, an overextended colour palette and minimal guidelines had led to inconsistent, fragmented outputs across touchpoints. As a large faith-based charity in their field, their identity wasn't reflecting that. In a space where peer organisations had carved out their own recognisa
ble look, they were blending in rather than standing out.

The biggest opportunity was positioning. Where many similar charities gravitated towards specific communities e.g. students, elders, creatives etc. Renewal’s audience cover everyone from young to old, from all walks of life. We leaned into that, building the refresh around the idea of radical welcome. A brand that feels open, warm, and accessible no matter who you are or where you're from. Because within this charity, you can find your people.

The solution - a refined colour palette shifted the tone brighter, warmer and more contemporary. A secondary typeface expanded the typographic system, creating flexibility and hierarchy across communications. A suite of graphic elements and shapes were developed to give the brand a distinctive and ownable visual language. The result is a considered brand system, supported by clear guidelines and applied across a full set of print and digital assets, positioning Renewal as a more confident, unified and forward-facing organisation.
